Stainless 304

Stainless steel 304 is one of the most common stainless steel used in the industry. It contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel, hence naming it as 18-8 stainless steel.
It can withstand most oxidizing acids, therefore making it an easy to maintain material and easy to sanitize as well. However, type 304 is susceptible to corrosion from chloride solutions or from saline environments like the coasts.

General application of Type 304 is commonly seen in storage tanks, fasteners and finishing hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, plates, handles, pots and pans, residential sinks and sink parts, indoor architectural/ decorative hardware (panels, sculptures, sconces), equipment tubing and other residential appliances.

We offer Type 304 in different forms such as Angle Bar, Flat Bar, Checkered Plate, Hexagon Bar, Plain Sheet/ Plate, Round Pipe, Round Bar, Round Tube and Square Tube.

Stainless 316L

Stainless steel 316L is second of the most common form of stainless steel used in the industry. Compared to form 316, it has almost same physical and mechanical property as type 304, however it contains 2 to 3 percent molybdenum. The addition increased its corrosion resistance to chlorides and other industrial solvents.

General application of Type 304 is commonly used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, industrial and chemical transportation, pressure vessels, cisterns and pipes for chemical applications, medical equipment for non-surgical steel, marine equipment, outdoor site furnishings, commercial kitchens, food production and processing in saline environments, and commercial appliances.

We offer Type 316 in Plain Sheet/ Plate and Round Bar in various sizes.

Stainless 202

Stainless steel Type 202 is a cheaper version of type 304, however it cannot totally replace the use of type 304. It contains less than 16-18% chromium and 0.5-4.0% nickel. Type 202 stainless steel in the market is easy to rust in the coastal area, hence it is more suitable to use in areas without air corrosion.

We offer Type 202 in various forms like Angle Bar, Flat Bar, Checkered Plate, Hexagon Bar, Plain Sheet/ Plate, Round Pipe, Round Bar, Round Tube and Square Tube in various sizes.
